3. Dinosaur-Themed Park
Who doesn’t like dinosaurs? This huge park is full of prehistoric play structures and some life-sized replica dino bones!!
While you climb over the tail of a triceratops and slide over it’s head, you and your kids can play and learn about dinosaurs at the same time. Don’t miss this fun opportunity on your next family vacation!

At the Thunder Junction All Abilities Park there are a lot of incredible attractions open to add a little adventure to your trip. One of the biggest attractions featured here is the Rock Climbing Structure. It’s the perfect place to prove your climbing abilities, are you ready?
The Lava Rock Volcano Island is another one of the favorite attractions in the park. Picnic tables inside provide some much needed shade during the day, and a treehouse slide provides a great spot to watch it erupt!
5. It’s Free and Open all Week
Yes! You’re reading correctly, the park is free all year long!
The facility hours are from 9 am to 10 pm all week, and while you’re there you can also try taking the train! The train isn’t free, but it will only cost you $1 per ride (totally worth it). The train operates Monday to Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm.
6. Water Play Areas
The waterfall splash pad area is ideal for summertime, let your kids play in the huge waterfall and splash pads located in a big space at the back of the park. This allows everyone to run safely and enjoy every corner of the area.
While there, we encourage parents to splash around at the rock walkway with their kids, it’s a great way to stay refreshed and have fun at the same time.
