This artistic village is located west of Ivins, Utah, just seven miles north of St. George. This community is perfectly situated on the fringe of the stunning red cliffs, one of the main reasons for its popularity. You will be amazed by the tranquility that surrounds it, as well as the use of red clay and local materials used in its architecture. Kayenta is considered by many to be an artists’ colony.

In this community you will discover art galleries, exhibitions and you will be able to see the artists themselves creating their works in their studios. The variety of works is impressive, from wind sculptures, glass works, wood paintings, handcrafted jewelry creations to gourd art!

In addition to the art galleries, there are also interactive options such as The Blue Raven Art Studio where experienced artists provide open painting or pottery classes for all ages! If theater is your thing, this community has an outdoor Cabaret Theater that offers a variety of shows for the whole family.

Kayenta also has easy and moderate terrain for mountain biking. Be sure to visit Rock Park, the community’s largest park, for hundreds of acres of natural scenery and beautiful waterfalls. Kayenta is also known as the gateway to the “Grand Circle of National Parks” such as Zion, Bryce Canyon, Lake Powell, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley and Mesa Verde. If you’re looking to explore, you’ll find plenty of hiking trails.

If after a busy day of expeditions, you and your family would rather opt for a more relaxing option, at Kayenta Art Village you’ll find The Desert Rose Maze and sculpture garden that allow visitors to take a moment to relax. Be sure to visit the Sacred Space Spa if you are looking to unwind. You can also grab a coffee or a bite to eat at the Xetava Gardens coffee shop.

If you have an artistic side or are an adventurer looking for new experiences in Utah, Kayenta Art Village is the place for you. The best time to visit this community is during their year-round art festivals. Visit their website for dates of their extraordinary events.
