5 Games For Your Next Family Reunion in Utah

Family Reunion Ideas in Utah

  • Capture the Flag

You must divide into two teams or more, depending on the number of people. Each team has to hide a flag. Each team tries to find the other team’s flag and bring it back over to their area before they get captured (tagged) by the other team. To mix it up, try playing at night, but make sure it’s in a nice big park with no obstacles.

  • Marco Polo

This is quite a popular game, but in case you’re not familiar with the requirements, you just need to have a pool. Fortunately for you, at Coral Canyons Resort you’ll find private pools at The Eighth. As for the game itself, it’s really simple: One person has to have their eyes covered and say “Marco” repeatedly, and the others have to answer with “Polo”. The one that has their eyes covered has to find the others by following the sound of their voices. If you get tagged, you’re out. Have fun!

  • Pickleball Match

It’s a fun game that combines many elements from tennis, badminton and ping-pong. Normally, you need 2 teams with 2 people per match. The server hits from behind the baseline on one side of the center line and aims diagonally to the opponent’s service court, only the serving side can score. If you want to play, check out these pickleball rules!

  • Homemade Mini Golf

It’s very simple to create a homemade version of mini golf, even while at the resort. You just need some plastic cups and toy golf clubs or hockey sticks. Put the cups on the ground and try to hit a small ball into it, the person with the lower number of strokes is the winner. You can also play it with teams.

  • Pictionary

Explore your creativity with this game, you just need some markers and a whiteboard (or big sheets of paper) and let the game begin! All of the Coral Canyon Homes for rent feature a spacious living room and a big patio where there is space to play Pictionary. Try it and let us know!
